Digital restoration: making the most of what is already great


This picture of Donald Pleasence by Allan Warren shows how some tender loving care can improve a great photo into a superb photo. For me the most important part of a portrait are the eyes and their expression in a face. The picture as a whole shows a composed man, posing relaxed in front of a camera. These two crops show in high resolution a before and an after image.

A lot of work goes into a successful restoration like this.
