#Copyright and the family album

The #Wikipedia articles on Alice Ricciardi-von Platen do not have an illustration. When my friend Jan Velterop asked me for help getting her article written, I asked him if he could get me a picture.

Alice von Platen

This picture of a young Alice was taken probably in 1939. The photographer is unknown and this picture was taken from a family album with the intention to make it publicly available. If there must be a copyright, it would be licensed as CC-sa but for all intends and purposes it can be considered to be in the public domain.
Thanks,

Consider licensing it as CC-zero, the closest license we have to actual Public Domain work. (Since this is a private picture, the copyright period might have only begun since you posted it on your blog (date of first publication).
