So I asked the people on the SignWriting mailing list. I was told by someone who has interpreted for schizophrenic deaf people, that some do hear voices and others SEE voices..

How crazy! I just can't imagine how people could SEE voices, that would be out of this world. I agree with you pboyle69, a schizophrenic person may listen to voices, but only if he were not born deaf
