In WiktionaryZ we want to have a lot of data, both lexicological, terminological and thesaurus information. Information may come from many sources, reputable sources. And yes, in WiktionaryZ people will be able to add, modify. When the information fits in with the existing data, it will be important to know where it fits in from a quality point of view.
Enter the Regime, a regime would be a procedure that people can submit to. It would be optional. There will be many areas where we can develop these regimes. It may be that a regime is developed or execustes with organisations that we will partner with.. One thing, to state the obvious, our data is Free so the process will be transparant and the resulting data will be Free.
It is an idea that we came up recently, we discussed it with some and now, we are interested in what you think of this.
Thanks,

But what is a regime?
In earlier posts you described a system to verify content. There every edit must be approved by two individuals. Does "regime" have anything to do with this?
Also, this leads to another question: What about the data from the existing wiktionaries and the data from GEMET? Should this data be treated as verified or not? The content is very good as far as I can see, but there may be errors that have been overlooked and the process of importing the data may create more errors. Then again, verifying all this data is a lot of work.
When you compare the content in other languages that the language a Wiktionary is in, how do you know it's validity. When two wiktionaries say the same thing is it correct or is it the same data copied to another wiktionary?
Yes, the quality of the Wiktionaries has improved and allowing for verification will improve it even further.
Thanks,
GerardM
