The Danes have their map support

The Danish Wikipedia are indeed lucky to have the creator of findvej.dk as a member of their community. He created these really useful maps for them.

It is wonderful to have such maps; they provide locally relevant information and they provide an incentive to get on your bike and go on a photo safari.

It would be great to have existing and proven technology available within the Wikipedia projects, all 270+ of them.. At the moment a lot of effort goes into providing some sort of geo location support. It takes some project management and some development to finally integrate map support in MediaWiki.

Yes, this must be done in all languages, I suppose he can reuse the source code and with little changes, create a map of all the world. Right?
